Product Description
The QSC KS118 Subwoofer adds depth to your sound system in a way that others can’t. This 18″ beast is powered by a 3600-watt Class D amplifier and has a selectable DEEP mode, which takes the already booming bass even lower.
Lower bass? Ohhhh yeah. We recommend setting it up vertically with a 35mm speaker pole for a sleek, professional look. It has a cardioid radiation mode (when used with two units), which eliminates rear-facing low-frequency sound, so your bass stays on the dance floor.
Included:
- 1x QSC KS118 18″ Subwoofer
- 1x Power Cable

Do I need an extra amplifier to use the KS118?
Not even a tiny little bit. The KS118 is an active subwoofer, meaning it has its own built-in amplifier. Plug and play bud!
-
What crowd size is this sub handling?
This is perfect for around 200 people, but if you pair it with our 12” QSC speakers, you can jump up to 250-300.

Is the cardioid setup really necessary?
Cardioid mode is great if you’re running two subs and want to control where your bass goes. It’s not imperative, but live events that don’t want the bass to bleed onto the stage will love this feature.
